Tens of thousands of cubic metres of logs in Attapeu sit on the confluence
of the Sekong and Sekhaman rivers. Accessible from Attapeu are parts
of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, a network of jungle paths from northern Vietnam
through Laos, Cambodia and into southern Vietnam.
